Start
my project
Every build begins with a conversation. We talk about your habits, your body, what you want to feel in the saddle. The rest follows naturally.
Here, we build something with you. Something that reflects you and that you will keep for a long time.
Your morphology, your usual roads, your goals, the cyclist you are today and the one you want to become. We take the time to understand all of this before proposing anything. The conversation always comes before the catalog.
Every component is discussed and justified. We explain why we recommend one groupset over another, one wheel over another. No project is too simple: a beautifully built frame has as much value as a competition machine if it suits your use.
We provide maintenance for the bike we deliver to you afterwards. We know each component because we chose it with you. Delivery marks the beginning of a relationship with your bike and with us, not the end of a transaction.
A few examples of projects to give an idea of what is possible. The list is long and each build is different.
A Colnago or Cervélo frame, assembled with a Shimano Dura-Ace or SRAM Red groupset, wheels selected according to your power profile. Every component has its purpose, and you'll know why it's there.
Dynamo for autonomous lighting, integrated racks, comfort handlebars, wide tires on a gravel or touring frame. This type of setup requires a lot of thought about real daily use, and that's exactly what we do in our consultations.
A Ridley X-Night or an Orbea Terra prepared for the trails of Mount Royal as much as for the frozen tracks of November. We know Quebec roads and we take them into account in every recommendation.
You've been riding for two or three years and want to take a step up. We'll choose a frame that fits you, assemble it carefully, and do a fitting to lay solid foundations. Many of our most loyal customers started here.
Before discussing frames or components, Hervé takes the time to analyze your morphology, mobility, and pedaling habits. His kinesiology background allows him to go beyond simple saddle adjustments: he understands how your body functions in motion and what that implies on the bike.
Good positioning improves your efficiency, reduces fatigue on long rides, and prevents discomfort that can eventually discourage even the most motivated cyclists. This preliminary work changes how you'll experience every kilometer on the bike we build together.
You can consult Hervé as part of a custom build project or directly on your current bike if something is bothering you. In both cases, you'll leave with a clear understanding of your position and concrete solutions.
What people ask before making an appointment. No question is too basic.
I don't know what type of bike I want yet. Where do I start?
That's often the best starting point. We ask questions about your usage, your usual roads, what you like, and what you want to change. The direction becomes quite clear once we've talked.
What does fitting involve and why do it before choosing a frame?
Fitting analyzes your position on the bike: reach length, saddle height, torso angle, hip and shoulder mobility. These measurements directly guide the choice of frame geometry. We prefer to do this work upfront to ensure that the bike we order is truly the right one for you.
Is a custom build more expensive than a complete bike from a store?
The price of a production bike includes margins for distribution, logistics, and marketing. Here, you pay for the components you choose, hand-assembled by someone who knows your project. For an equivalent budget, you generally get more real quality and, above all, something that truly suits you.
I've only been riding for two years. Is custom suitable for me?
Absolutely. Two years of riding is enough to have clear preferences about what you like and what you want to improve. Custom building makes sense as soon as you want a bike that precisely meets your needs, regardless of your level.
Can we build the bike in stages according to budget?
Yes, and that's a very sensible way to approach a project. We first choose a solid frame and a functional groupset, then plan upgrades in order. The advantage of working with us from the start is that we already think about the future during the initial assembly.
Do you take Quebec road conditions into account in your recommendations?
We ride here, so yes. Potholes, gravel, winter salt, and patched asphalt are all part of the reality we integrate into every recommendation. Tire choice, frame geometry, and bottom bracket height are all influenced by where you actually ride.
I'm uncomfortable on my current bike. Can you help me before I consider a purchase?
Absolutely. Hervé can perform a fitting on your existing bike, identify the source of discomfort, and suggest concrete adjustments. Sometimes a few tweaks solve everything. In any case, you'll leave with a clear answer.
Do you handle maintenance after delivery?
Yes, our workshop provides maintenance and servicing for all the bikes we assemble. We know each component because we chose it with you, which makes follow-up much more effective. The relationship with your bike and with us extends well beyond delivery.
Let's talk,
whenever you want
The first meeting lasts between 30 and 45 minutes. We talk about you, your riding, and what you have in mind. Nothing is committed that day if you're not yet ready to move forward.
In-store or by phone, whichever suits you. Choose a time slot that works for you below.
