In its endless quest for ever greater speed through aerodynamic optimization, CHAPTER2 presents MANA, which means "power" in Maori.
The integrated handlebar and stem assembly allows for turbulence-free airflow. This results in a sleek, integrated cockpit made entirely of TORAY® carbon and compliant with EN ISO 4210:2014. The careful use of specific carbon layups manufactured in Japan provides the necessary blend of stiffness for precise and predictable steering with just the right amount of compliance to smooth out road imperfections.
While other manufacturers have decided to associate their handlebar and stem set with a particular frame model, we have favoured a more open approach: the MANA has been designed not only for perfect integration with the RERE, but also with the TERE or any other road bike frame that uses a 1 1/8 inch head tube.
In order to offer you the freedom to use the MANA with frames from CHAPTER2 or other manufacturers, we have decided to develop a more user-friendly cable routing method for which your cycle mechanic will certainly be grateful.
The MANA is available in 5 size combinations, so you can fine-tune your position thanks to a stem length between 80 and 120 mm and a handlebar width between 400 and 440 mm.
Finally, with the adoption of electronic transmission and the use of forward-mounted GPS computers for those Strava® moments, the CHAPTER2 handlebar and stem assembly is ready to receive the Shimano® BoxBarfly® junction box (EW-RS910) mounted at the end of the handlebar and the forward-mounted GPS mounts.
