POWERFUL AND RESPONSIVE

At its core, the R2 sole's carbon fiber layer saves weight and offers increased stiffness, with a stiffness index of 10, making it the most responsive sole in the fizik range. A large air intake and internal channeling provide enhanced ventilation for improved temperature control . The cleat position is slightly further back than traditional settings to optimize pedaling efficiency and reduce knee compression, making it particularly well-suited to highly aggressive aerodynamic riding positions.
