The all-new Áspero-5 was designed to lead the race and is the most aerodynamic gravel bike ever created. Cervélo has long been synonymous with aerodynamic performance, and they've brought those 30 years of expertise to gravel racing. This new bike is remarkably more efficient than its predecessor, saving 37 watts and beating its closest competitor by 34 watts .
With clearance for 45mm tires , storage space in the downtube , and a threaded bottom bracket , the Áspero-5 is race-ready right out of the box. The Áspero-5 made its rainbow jersey debut with UCI Gravel World Champion Marianne Vos and will be used by some of the world's top cyclists.
The Áspero-5 is 37 watts more efficient than its predecessor and 34 watts more efficient than its closest competitor . Cervelo has long been a leader in aerodynamics, and they've designed a gravel road bike that lives up to that reputation. The aerodynamic handlebars and stem alone save nearly 6 watts .
The new Áspero-5 is 66 grams lighter than its predecessor, despite the addition of a significant surface area aimed at improving aerodynamic performance.
When fitted with tires of the same size (e.g., 42 mm front and rear), the Áspero-5 offers stable handling, inspiring confidence and ready to tackle the most challenging courses. To further improve aerodynamics and
To refine handling on less technical courses, the geometry is optimized for a tire width difference of 4 mm (for example 40 mm at the front, 44 mm at the rear).
First appearing on the P series triathlon bike, it has been integrated into the downtube storage system on the Aspero-5. This is the lightest and most aerodynamic system on the market, allowing you to store an inner tube, tools and a repair kit inside the frame, protected from the wind.
